Experience the dual benefits of sounds from alchemy crystal sining bowls and acupuncture.  This uplifting experience is a collaboration between Joy Evans, MSW (she/her) and Kelsey Rumfello, LAc (she/her) from the Oakland Acupuncture Project. 

To help us ease into Spring we will be focusing on the Liver and Gallbladder. In TCM these organs are related to the smooth flow of our emotions represented by flexibility physically and emotionally, and our adaptability to stress and how we hold it in our bodies. Sound healing combined with acupuncture is a restorative and nurturing approach to bring happiness and ease in our lives.

What to expect:  Joy and Kelsey are creating an uplifting experience to help ease us from the introversion and yin of winter into the creativity and yang of spring. Prepare to recline in comfort in the zero gravity chairs with pillows and blankets provided so you may feel as cozy, safe, and comfortable as possible. After a brief introduction to crystal singing bowls and once everyone has their acupuncture needles, you will relax to the sounds of crystal singing bowls for 45min of healing and rejuvenation.    

Tips:  

• Wear loose fitting clothes  
• OAP is a scent free clinic, please refrain from wearing fragrances, essential oils, or any strong scents as they can be triggers for those with health conditions  
• Arrive early! It can take a few extra minutes to find parking at the Grand Lake clinic and you don’t want to miss out on any of this healing experience  
• Remember to use the restroom before we get started as you won’t want to interrupt your relaxation   
• Place your belongings under your chair, to reduce tripping hazards  
• Please turn off your cellphone and appreciate the hour you have to yourself with no distractions  
• The chairs are placed exactly where they are needed please do not move them
