About Forest Bathing
The practice of forest therapy or Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to "forest bathing," gently guides you through a series of invitations to slow down, to deepen you relationship with (your) nature, and to become aware of your connection to the web of life. Each invitation is followed by an opportunity for personal reflection. In this practice, the pace is intentionally slower than a hike and the distance is short allowing you to reawaken your senses. Studies have demonstrated a wide array of psychological and physical health benefits of spending time outdoors.
